Can you live without a mobile device?

I did an experiment once, tried not to use a phone for 3 days and I passed. I was in Singapore that time and there was no cell service since I didn't activate my roaming before I left the RP (which is a good thing). I can't communicate with friends and loved ones. There was still facebook though, but the day I reached Singapore I haven't opened facebook for the whole day since we thought that my Dad would get charged for using the internet during that time. But later learned that our internet access was free (learned that the next day).

For me, I can't really live without my mobile phone since it's the fastest way of communicating. Since we need everything in an instant these days, we changed the 'want to have one of those' to the 'need to have one'.

Like what they say, the only thing you can't change in this world is the word 'change'. That leaves me asking this question to you, can you live without your mobile device?
